Not everything is finished, but at this point, all we need to do is wait and/or support those hard at work trying to make this a reality. Not to mention that Dragon's Dogma 2 is now on the horizon.  | This shut down because Capcom stupidly decided not to release this worldwide. Japan was never the ideal market to release MMO games like this, unless you put it on mobile. Games like this simply preform much better in the west. But Capcom suffers from Japanese xenophobia, causing them to be very stubborn and extremely stupid when it comes to this sort of thing.  | The most realistic combat. I mean climbing, riding, piercing bosses while doing it cool way. I played dark arisen for thousand of hours because the aura and bosses and environment. I always remember nighttime is just fuck by op monster when i was noob. And the light you see is not a light at all. Those are fucking op bosses that lirks in the darknest. This game has all the potential but never was advertised and overshadowed by other crap overhyped game. This game deserves to be top 1 in all combat rpg.  | Idk why devs do this. They decide to go ahead and only release a game exclusively in their country and wonder why it doesn't do all that well. If, God forbid, they were to expand it across other countries like the US and Canada and Europe and stuff where the original game was wildly popular, they could have probably made so much profit that the costs of making an official translation would have not even mattered. I'm sure there are devs here in the US that are just as bad about it too, but Japan seems to be notorious for doing this, and just having poor game sales on single player games because they chose not to release them elsewhere. For example, there were a couple of Breath of Fire games in that game series that were never released here in the US for some reason, which isn't fair to anyone including their own company. I wouldn't be surprised if the sequel will outweigh every RPG we have till now. The possibilities are endless and with cult following this game has. It'll succeed.  | It's absolutely astounding that they chose to shut this game so abruptly. Unfortunately, the executives in the Japanese games business have a long history of failing to understand what will sell outside Japan. So, they're missing out on a lot of revenue all the time. For example, there was strong opposition to release Dark Souls (Demon's Souls at the time) outside of Japan. Because THEY DIDN'T THINK DARK SOULS WOULD CATCH ON IN THE FOREIGN MARKET. Yeah...  | Dragon's Dogma Online was my favorite MMORPG of all time. First time I had witnessed an mmorpg having the quality of a single player game and such unique classes. Some other dudes, like that untalented YoshiP of FFxiv, still trying to figure out how to make a class feel satisfied. And clueless gamers still riding his dick for literally making a clone theme park, with no quality or inovation, served in a shiny package for casuals. DDO was everything FFxiv could never be. Shame to Capcom killing such a game and shame to the Japanese gamers who want to play something 'easier' and not a challening high quality masterpiece.  | Still think this series needs a true to form sequel with up to 4 player multiplayer so that the people who do solo play can still have a party of pawns but the ones like us who want to play with friends can play together.  | I remember this one time when playing this game I was pretty new to it and got about one week of gameplay and wasn't a very high level but could still kick ass as an assassin Anyway I spent most of the time exploring and I came across this cave entrance that led to a forest that an NPC said was home to a number of Goblins big medium and small to be exact and I thought "how hard could they be we've killed tons of Goblins" a few hours later after resupplying my group and I go exploring this forest soon enough we found a group of Goblins and dealt with them quickly five seconds later two groups of Goblins show up and it was at that moment I realized i fucked up by underestimating just how many Goblins were here Every one Goblin we killed four more took its place so in a little time span of four minutes it was the five of us against 132 of them We're fighting for our lives at this point and it was turning into a real party so much so a Dragon dropped in like "what's up bitches!!!!" So now my guys are fighting Goblins and a Dragon, long story short we're getting our ass kicked I call it and use my bow to cover our retreat back to the cave we came through and didn't fair too well in there because I got us lost and running in circles and ran into a couple of trolls half an hour later we finally get out and all I had to say was "screw that I'm not going back there" Комментарий от : @wyattguilliams2621 |
