I just took out 5 of my tooth and one of them is the wisdom tooth Комментарий от : @user-vu8id1ht7g |
This sounds like solid advice. I'm 58. My oral surgeon said I have miles between my lower teeth and the nerve based on imaging. I have a friend who got his sinus perforated from a root canal and he was miserable for over a year trying to get it sorted out. So I'm scared of that possibility. The reason I wanted my wisdom teeth out is because I keep munching on the inside of my cheek while eating and it's sore for weeks until it heals. It's so miserable. But I think I have to deal with that. I don't think I should proceed with the removal. I never heard of that coronectomy. That sounds interesting and maybe a possibility? I just don't want to bite my cheeks anymore. Комментарий от : @beatweezl |
There’s no such a thing as sinus infections from Wisdom Teeth due to their connection. The wisdom teeth are connected to the brain the front top 4 teeth are connected to the sinus and if you have front top crowns or fake teeth you will have sinus issues for life. Also if you have healthy wisdom teeth there’s nothing to affect. If they are not good get them removed. I’m Not a doctor just a wise person and I use my common sense. I guess my common sense tooth is still healthy 😂.. Комментарий от : @jeanniehernandez7220 |
65% of people don’t need them removed. Wisdom teeth are call after they’re linked to the brain. All teeth are necessary all organs have a purpose even if they tell you they are not. God wouldn’t give you an organ just because and their is no such a thing as we don’t need something anymore because if that was the case then it will disappear on it’s on . Комментарий от : @jeanniehernandez7220 |
I had to keep my mouth slightly opened all day it made my jaws super tired it's kinda.... Sad Комментарий от : @ComputerUser-kw7rv |

What if the only issue is halitosis? Is there a way to address this without tooth removal? Комментарий от : @epigeneticnerd4244 |
I had my wisdom teeth pulled at age 39 - reason why I waited so long is severe anxiety about going to the dentist in the first place. And I was always told that they were impacted (which wasn’t true) which scared me even more. I had 3 of them removed in less than 30 minutes, one was upper left and never came down, they left that behind. And the removal was very easy and my healing process was easy as well. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Комментарий от : @tigerlilybelle1 |
Do these complications apply to tooth 15 as well ? Комментарий от : @manuelalberto724 |
If upper two are removed should one remove the lower wisdom also Комментарий от : @shrutidhaadha5501 |
Just had my lower left wisdom tooth removed at age 43, because it was horizontally impacted and was causing a cavity the in molar next to it. The surgery was not painful thanks to the anaesthetic but the pain and swelling afterwards was uncomfortable. Was difficult to speak for a few days and not being able to eat solid food for 6 days is horrible. Комментарий от : @goodbyetothepeople92 |
I'm 29 i only got mine removed because I needed to make room for my braces. Комментарий от : @Ang417 |
I'm so annoyed no one told me I should remove my wisdom teeth when I was younger (32 now) Комментарий от : @acovingt |
In my case they didn’t remove one of them because it’s too close to my sinus. Dr said he thinks it will not come, looks like trapped with bone. I really wanted to be removed. But he said they will just keep an eye on it Комментарий от : @JuanLopezmusica |
50,000 years Zero Human Wisdom tooth removal!!!...1950s money 💵 plus tech = 100% removal!!! Crazy!!! 🤔🤯🙈🙉🙊🐑 Комментарий от : @lukeskywalkerlucasfilm |

Mine are fine. One got cracked and infected and then finally pulled it at 38 but the rest are fine. No need to pull them they grew in fully. Wish I had been more aggressive on the not chewing ice…. Комментарий от : @GardensoftheAncientsHerbal |
Hello, I’m 21 and my dentist has referred me to get my bottom two wisdom teeth removed, I’m considering not doing it mainly over the risk of nerve damage, is this enough to hold off getting them removed for now and even potentially forever? Комментарий от : @ProRecker |
Mine are impacted so out they come Комментарий от : @Shaun_Natty_869 |
Ok i have s question... I am 33. 2 years ago i had 3 wiadom teeth removed [they were sideways and pushing into my jaw and i coukdnt open my mouth anymore . So i had no choice. The dentist i went to decided it woukdnt be safe to do in the office and it was scheduled for the hospital. I was also approved for sleep dentristy covered because i have really bad panic attacks about dental stuff.. like really bad. I had the wisdom teeth all removed. They also took one of my molars beside my wisom tooth. Its heen 2 orn3 yrs since that surgery and it feels like they left a oiece in there.... is that possible? That they forgot a piece. Комментарий от : @mawmawmakeup3602 |
If i lose both first molars i will ask my dentist if they can use my wisdom teeth as a second molar instead Комментарий от : @ImNotKriss |
Got mine pulled two weeks ago. Nerve damage of chin and lip smdh Комментарий от : @rentedduckliing |

what to do if only my top wisdom teeth are partially impacted? Комментарий от : @antonio_627 |
I have a good question I went to the dentist at a young age. And the dentist kept filling me up with numbing medicine to remove the wisdom tooth but I was able to still feel him touching my tooth so I told my mom at a young age I didn't want it pulled at all now I'm 25 years old I have wisdom teeth but they don't bother me but they have caused my back teeth to shift side ways but they do not hurt can you please help me on to what to do also I forget I also have a left nostril that give me huge problems can't breath out of it Комментарий от : @justiceforall6567 |
Do the roots continue to grow after a coronectomy? Комментарий от : @shookbrii |
I’m just afraid of the surgery. But my lower front teeth lower just rotated a little bit, I think this might be because if the wisdom teeth. Are there any alternatives for me? Комментарий от : @silentpatrick1159 |
What if it is impacted ? Inside the bones and covered with nerves . Both uppers and lowers basically they never were seen . Is it still be removed ? Комментарий от : @mananmajmudar5598 |
I fully regret having my wisdom teeth removed, not only did I get permanent nerve damage, but I also had to have dental cavitation surgery years later because of the bacteria that grew in the bone, or necrosis. What a mess! It all couldve been avoided if I said NO and ran out of that dentists office! Комментарий от : @essentialadvantages6790 |
My wisdom teeth erupted all four of them at the same time in a good position and never actually hurt. They're perfectly functional teeth. Комментарий от : @guidoylosfreaks |
I had a dentist tell me that my molars were fine so long as they weren't causing me issues. Of course, with the economy in the tanks, all of a sudden, he was telling me to remove all of them so they don't cause problems. This was a span of only a few months. Комментарий от : @stevennguyen4993 |
Use a waterflosser an vs you'll never have trouble. Stretch your jaw out an d let them come in. It's gonna hurt when they erupt like it is right now but it's better than tearing into your skull so a surgeon can make a few bucks. My dentist tried to completely mislead me she should have her liscence taken away Комментарий от : @gang6009 |
thanks Комментарий от : @user-io2bd4cq9z |
they cut a nerve with my removal, they were coming in fine. Wish I would have never had them removed Комментарий от : @Bhope07 |

Im 52 this year and i got my third wisdom for my birthday lol but in my 20 i got my bottoms and they were very pain all in my forties i had to go thru the pain but its all good now,the gum split and they're so white😅 and my top one only came thru.because i had my molar removed a couple year ago.and its not painful at all Комментарий от : @preciousthoughts4674 |
Hi. Yesterday the dentist told me that my teeth are healthy and clean (the last visit to any dentist was 5 years ago), but he said to have a cleaning anyway because he saw some millimeters of tartar in some teeth in a few reachable areas, what do I do? How do I remove that little tartar at home since dental floss (which I've never used),as you said in your videos, does more harm than good? Комментарий от : @MaestroStefanoPetrini |
Doctor,could you help me?
I am 35 years old. I removed my lower wisdom teeths when I was around 20 years old and yesterday at the visit the dentist told me that although 5 years had passed since the last dental visit my teeth are clean and have no problems or cavities. But he also said this: that the upper wisdom teeth(perfectly intact and healthy) are falling out and that in the future we will have to remove those too. Is there scientific basis in what he told me or could it just be another scam? Комментарий от : @MaestroStefanoPetrini |
Is 27 too young to have it done? Healthy male. Left side top is about half way out, my right side top is still under the skin. Did it develop the bottom wisdom teeth Комментарий от : @brap17x |
I’m one of the lucky ones who has all 4 wisdom teeth fully fictional, I don’t plan on removing them. Комментарий от : @Lolbit7069 |
Got my upper wisdom tooth removed because they told me that was my only option and now I have a sinus infection!!!!! No pain from the wisdom tooth removal but the sinus infection is no fun. Комментарий от : @gina.theaffiliate |

I got my bottom teeth out but the top still there because they erupted normally Комментарий от : @winiepoo6797 |
I will say, my dentist said I had no need to remove my wisdom teeth and to just brush real good back there. Three months later I had a cavity on one of them, I got it fixed, then my breath smelled atrocious. I just got them removed for that reason. Комментарий от : @laylaadams4741 |
My top wisdom that came out straight as a ruler, didn’t mess up my teeth and I make sure I clean them really well, but my bottom left… dear lord it erupted and the gum was making contact with my top wisdom tooth, ended getting infected it was one of the worse pains ever. Комментарий от : @mrk09988 |
28y.o. Has one fully erupted upper and a bottom not erupted wisdom teeth removed 2 weeks ago. The upper one took 5 mins to extract and the pain is gone. The bottom tooth was deep in the jaw hence it caused no discomfort. So frankly there were no reasons to extract it but the dentist persuaded me with persistence to extract it in one go with the upper tooth. Needless to say there was a stew of gum, blood and bone in my mouth as the doctor struggled to pull it out. After the surgery they said that they took "a lot of bone". I'm now 2 weeks into recovery. Have weird tingling/painful sensations in the left side of my tongue + moderate throbbing pain in the bottom jaw at random times of day. Also it feels as if the left side of my tongue (side where the teeth were removed) got bigger as when the tongue is relaxed it's edge is on the teeth, as if it doesn't fit between the teeth anymore. I just hope it's not a permanent nerve damage because it sucks. Lesson here: think twice before doing preventive wisdom tooth extraction (if you're 28-30) if it doesn't hurt or bother you. If my wisdom tooth is pushing and causing my teeth to turn but it isn't diseased looking it's white and my tooth in front of it had part of the filling fall out because I I had it filled 20 years ago I wonder if I could just pull the broken tooth and just leave the wisdom tooth since I'm looks like it's in better condition Комментарий от : @emptysoul5057 |

Sorry, I know I am speaking only of my situation. I am in my late 60s and never have had issues with wisdom theeth. I've always figured dentists insisting this were only wanting to make more money. I even experienced one angry at me because I refused the procedure AND had no cavaties. Are others helped or being financially scammed? Комментарий от : @mikenixon2401 |
Thank you. You gave me confidence to push back against my rather rude dentist who was trying to convince me to remove my wisdom teeth. I will find other dentists and get their eval. Dont stick a doc or dentist who is just rude and demeaning. You deserve better. Комментарий от : @SR-mv2mf |
What a load of tosh Комментарий от : @dragon-rides |
My new dentist wouldn't see me until I removed my perfectly fine wisdom teeth. I was awake for the whole thing and he used this hard midevil metal thing to keep my mouth open. Had bruises all on my jaws and mouth. I'm trying to figure out the reason for doing this when there is no need. Комментарий от : @jamecia8550 |
I got mine around 19, they've been with me almost 20 years now.🦷👀 Комментарий от : @FrostSwam |

My daughter's dentist does not recommend that her wisdom teeth to be removed, which surprised me since many dentists recommend it regularly. She has the room and she is 20 yrs. old. Комментарий от : @alexispacey2864 |
I also have my wisdom tooth extraction appointment in few days. My lower ones are completely at 180° and have infections as well but upper ones are just fine. Im hesitant in removing the upper ones but the dentist said it needs to be done as they may damage the gums without lower supporting teeth set. I'm still a little skeptical about getting the upper ones removed. Any suggestions?? Комментарий от : @shradhajain3765 |
Good stuff but I’m 58 and had a coronectomy 12 years ago. Recently I have pain in the area and was told that I’ll be permanently numb if the tooth is removed. How do i handle this? Комментарий от : @Earthtime3978 |

I had my wisdom tooth removed and it felt like a pain relief at the time. Fast forward several years later, I do feel great but my mouth doesn't close straight anymore. The dentists and the orthodentists in my area suggested to remove all of the rest three wisdom teeth and everything will be (magically) improved. I know every case is different but it doesn't make sense to me removing 3 healthy teeth and not simply shaving the one that makes my mouth close wrong. They didn't even mention this as an option actually and now I am kinda desperate about it. Any ideas? Would that even be an option or the only way to straighten the mouth is removing 3 teeth? Комментарий от : @iamtheone23 |
This is a big moneymaker for dentists. I have been researching the link between wisdom teeth removal and rampant rates of sleep apnea in western cultures. Maybe just maby the wisdom tooth is there for a reason. My wife is Asian and her family and village could not comprehend my snoring & OSA as no one there snores. They also do not remove wisdom teeth. I now call wisdom teeth removal “mouth circumcision” as it’s completely unnecessary and opens longer term medical complications just as infant male genital mutilation does. All for medical$$$ Комментарий от : @ryanlogan2911 |
Wisdom teeth removal is a SCAM Комментарий от : @gundarvarr1024 |
My wisdom teeth give me jaw pain and now one is infected. My teeth are super crowded and I often bite my cheeks and cause ulcers. As much as I don’t want the pain and risk of having my wisdom teeth removed, I can’t help but think my health would be much better without them. Комментарий от : @amysquie |
Okay so im 3 seconds deep in the video and it already makes absolutely no fucking sense. Quote : « typically your wisdom teeth should get removed if they are not fully erupted yet … » So from there 100% of the population should remove them at some point cause obviously wisdom teeth take some time to get out and obviously if they take time to erupt at some time they will be partially erupted ? Like what the fuck? It’s literally erupting slowly not popping in like 1s so every fucking person on this planet that has perfectly healthy wisdom teeth at some point had a moment where the wisdom teeth where partially erupted and potentially had some pain associated with it but it didnt fucking mean they needed to get them removed XD Комментарий от : @koanzx1 |
I’m almost 36 and I can visually see one of my top wisdom teeth coming out , it’s kinda cool. I do feel wiser and more dangerous Комментарий от : @cousin_JACK |
I’m about to 30 soon and I’m getting wisdom teeth in buccaongular shape.. it’s hurting like hell. I can’t mouth my mouth. Should I remove it ? Комментарий от : @Nangkhamkya |
I kept mine. My first wisdom tooth came in on a slant. My dentist instantly said it was impacted and needed to be removed, but I insisted that I was going to keep it, I'd clean it carefully and tediously if I had to, simply not worth the risk of going under. Only when I told her firmly that I wanted to keep them did she then say "Oh yea, well it coming out on a slant is normal, normal and healthy wisdom teeth will use your last molar to guid their growth upwards." and gave me simple and easy alternatives to removal. This was all in the same conversation, no extra tests were done to change her mind like that. Just me being firm and confident. I never needed to remove that tooth (so far) because just like she said, it grew out straight using that last molar as a guide and is growing straight and is mostly errupted as of now. It is still growing, slowly, but it is growing nontheless and looks normal and healthy. The very surface area of my gum will sometimes hurt where the tooth is growing when I press it to my tooth or pull it away from it, but no jaw aches or any abnormalities, just the sensation of the area of my gum tearing. That upper wisdom tooth is now growing in as well and I'm pretty dead set on keeping it, no matter how tediously I have to clean the teeth. It's just really not worth the risks of anesthesia and complications of surgery to me and I don't feel like 90% of dentists consider that maybe it is a better option to just let people have their extra 4 teeth and at least try, just a little, just a tiny little bit, to find an alternative that is many times safer and better for people's wellbeing to make things work and spare someone those possible and often unecessary complications... 90% of the time, dentists won't even give the teeth a chance (like mine) and instantly, automatically insist and push to have you remove them like they forget it is a whole surgery which carries its own risks and little to no benefit unless your wisdome teeth are actually problematic. I don't get that. Why don't we just start routinely removing tonsils just in case they cause issues at this point... Or fingers in case they get bad frostbite while we're at it. Комментарий от : @cheesethekoala8756 |
I'm so miserable with this tooth coming in sideways and my jaw or gum line is crazy swollen, antifungal medication for histoplasmosis and blastomycosis and valley fever have ruined my teeth. This is crazy ridiculous, I'm 48yrs old Комментарий от : @katiesiouxlamoureaux7757 |
So I'm 30 and these dentist are trying to pull all my wisdom teeth out because the money of course but my top two are just fine! Комментарий от : @FrankyL-vf3nd |
Hi Doc, My third molar (wisdom teeth) on the lower jaw is impacted at about 45 degrees to the second molar. I take lot of care to keep that area clean by light brushing after every meal and swishing water briskly around that area many times. So it's not causing any pain, or decay as such. I am only paranoid that if any food debris gets into any tiny gap in between the teeth and the germs would damage my teeth from inside. Now my question is can I force my wisdom teeth to grow out naturally by giving it tiny push every few hours. I intend to use my two fingers to give a push to the third and second molar in directions away from each other. Would appreciate your opinion. Комментарий от : @abhilashkrishnan1693 |
is there any legitimate peer reviewed scientific studies?( could u please provide the links to it?) indicating that wisdom tooth are les viable, in mineralization, and integrity then any other tooth, or just ancestral dum shit low iq evidence like usually with a low iq and a dental schooll medical degree to back up such idiotic claims? do pigs, monkeys, or dolphins? go to regular wisdom tooth extractions? or just dummer then shit dental dogma? promulgated by docs wich claim this to be true? without any factual evidence? thank you Комментарий от : @cwit5479 |
I kept all my wisdom teeth, they grew in straight and fine. Now I'm 30 and got a cavity on one of them. The dentist said they will not fill cavities on a wisdom tooth. So now I have to get all of them removed. Комментарий от : @carilei |

This is good information but it led me more confused still. I’m gonna be 31 in 2 months and none of my wisdom teeth given me any issues yet. I have wisdom teeth inside my gum because they show up on my X-rays. So I’m not one of the lucky ones to be born without any. So I’m just worried because I’m getting older and if they become an issue years from now I’m basically screwed cause of bone density and everything else you said. So I’m more confused. Do I just leave them alone or get them out before I get any older? I appreciate the valuable information but I’m feeling like I’m damn if I do and I’m damned if I don’t. My dentist said to just leave them alone and that the way their positioned doesn’t seem to cause a problem as long as I don’t loose any of my teeth and leave room for them to move My wisdom teeth should stay in the proper position because the bone and the molar are keeping them in place and they are positioned good. Whatever that means Комментарий от : @nora_nayeli |
I'm not touching mine unless they cause me pain. I was first told I had plenty of room... then "meh we will have to wait and see" to now "you 'probably'" should remove them. I am 23 and my first one has poked through a bit (I am annoyed) there is no pain but now I have to make sure to brush the little corner that has come in. I have named it Jezabelle because I doubt the others will come in just this one which I prefer it would have just stayed under the gumline. Комментарий от : @daydream1066 |
